Klompenmakerij Traas was set up around the year 1904. We have already been making clogs for over a century long.
Every day and still at the same location in Heinkenszand, in the
characteristic province, Zeeland. 4 Generations long,  
dedicated to clogs. Typical for Holland and famous in the whole
world. Of course many things changed during those years.
From pure handicraft to mechanization, from peddling door by
door to digital sales. From a commodity to souvenirs and typical
products of Zeeland. In spite of these changes we continue
to cherish our craft. Pure craft were Holland is famous for and
which makes history. For this reason, we can understand you
would like to know everything  about this process. Therefore
you are welcome in our shop in Heinkenszand. Beside our big
range of clogs, souvenirs and typical products from Zeeland you
also have de possibility to have a look in the factory. Although,
when you really want to see history revive, come and visit our
clog museum in Hoedekenskerke. It is worth the while.
